The program includes:

  • Personal consultant for advice
  • Cultural excursions and local trips
  • SPEAK Exam for international teaching assistants

Topics include:

  • Academic Writing

  • Reading

Note: Upon acceptance, CIES will issue you an I-20 for the Summer Bridge Program. You must use the CIES I-20 to apply for your F-1 student visa. After you finish the program, your SEVIS record will be transferred to the main campus of Florida State University, and FSU’s Center for Global Engagement will issue an I-20 for your degree program using the same SEVIS record. You will not need to get a new visa or leave the U.S. as part of this process.
